Chiara Franzoni has been awarded the ‘Richard R. Nelson Prize’ for her paper Crowd Science. The organization of scientific research in open collaborative projects < https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0048733313001212 >She shared the prize with coauthor Henry Sauermann from ESTM, Berlin.The awarding ceremony and dinner have taken place at the Faculty Club of University of California at Berkeley on Thursday 27th 2020. The prize was conferred by Richard R. Nelson, Emeritus Professor of Economics at Columbia University and one of the founders of the Economics of Innovation, from whom the prize is named after. The dinner was attended by several editors and members of the scientific committee of the journals Research Policy and Industrial and Corporate Change, which have issued the prize.
